Training...

...is the only thing I found that keeps me in a good enough state of mind/body. It keeps me from getting depressed.  When I'm more than a few days without training I start feeling like shit...'scuse the language, :¬)

I like to push myself and pass those limits, learn to do new things, experience new things; like for example when I learned to do muscle-ups, or (pseudo) planches, etc. I'm now in the process of learning to do freestanding handstands, or more precisely, longer and more stable handstands. Next will be: freestanding handstand push-ups; full fledged planches; front lever to slow muscle-ups. Also, I want to do those Bar-Barians Requirements: 5 muscle-ups, 45 dips, 25 pull-ups, 55 push-ups, and 5 muscle-ups, all done within 6 minutes. Why? Because! Lol! But really, I'm not sure why. I know I'll be in better shape, so I'll be more able to do those exercises I mentioned earlier... But, really, why do I bother training like this, in the face of this ongoing omnicidal civilization, when training doesn't stop anything? I don't really know either. I guess it's like eating, breathing, and sleeping, and relating to other earthlings...

Oh, another thing that helps to keep me from goin nuts is expressing myself in words, written or spoken, like here on this blog, for instance. And getting feedback from others also helps, of course. Thanks for that, by the way. Alright, have a great one ya'll...lol...you one or two readers...

The Light At the End Of the Tunnel

"It's nice and clean, now", he seriously said, after I showed him a massacred part of a forest I  -   and countless others, human and nonhuman - used to live in and/or enjoy, that had just been clear cut..."What a fucktard", I'd thought, refraining from grabbing his eyeballs with my fingers, as life in jail is apparently not that great...

Just thought I'd share this snippet. Why? No fuckin clue! Just enjoy! Or not.

And now I'm thinking about the lovely "Tarsands" in Alberta...the "Plan Nord" here in Quebec, where they plan to open mines of all kinds, including uranium, and where they plan to deforest and develop in all kinds of ways...the countless trucks driving by in front of my apartment full of once living trees now on their way to becoming some "product"...the countless human babies constantly being turned into pale imitations of humans...

Everybody, or just about everybody's heard of that expression, "The light at the end of the tunnel". Well, I like to think of that light as being civilization burning to the fuckin ground...haha! Well, I don't see the light just yet. In the mean time all I see and hear are the grinding teeth of their giant meatgrinder grinding away the flesh and lives of all those who can't do fuck all to defend themselves against the ever growing Grinder, and I also see countless minds and lives of those forced to "freely" join and become an extra grinder tooth...

The Trail Ahead - Just another rant

So, am I the only one feeling like the paved road is narrowing even more these days, and whoever's on this road's bein led to a seemingly invisible cliff...or giant meatgrinder...different metaphor, same result...

I dunno. Maybe I'm wrong...Maybe it's just me dreading that my loved ones might be tempted to take that shiny and wide paved road that so many are "freely" "enjoying"...

I dunno...

Loaded Words: Writing as a combat discipline - by Derrick Jensen

Loaded Words

Writing as a combat discipline

by Derrick Jensen

Excerpt:

"RECENTLY, I’VE BEEN THINKING about something I wrote fourteen years ago, which has become one of my most quoted passages: “Every morning when I wake up I ask myself whether I should write, or blow up a dam.” Despite having faith in my work as a writer, I knew that it wasn’t a lack of words that was killing salmon in the Northwest. It was the presence of dams.

Since that time, things have gotten much worse for salmon, and for almost everything on the earth. By now we all know the numbers, or we should. Two hundred species per day driven extinct, 90 percent of the large fish in the oceans extirpated, more than 98 percent of native forests destroyed, 99 percent of prairies, and on and on. Virtually every biological indicator is pointing the wrong direction. Native communities—human and nonhuman—are under assault..."

We Are the (Natural) World

That's it! The title pretty much says it all. We, as in we earthlings, we humans, white pines, red ants, chickadees, mushrooms, black bears...well, you get it, right? We 'all' are the natural world. Humans are just different, that's all! No better and no more precious than bacterias, whales or maggots. Civilized humans brag about their superior intellect...while they're at the same time destroying their unique home in the universe... Me, I can't think of anything more idiotic than a civilized human.

Domesticated/civilized/slave humans, whether they stand at the top or near the top of their hierarchal systems or at the bottom or near the bottom or anywhere else in their hierarchal systems like to perceive the rest of the world, the rest of the natural world as something out there and especially as something lower, and they perceive themselves, the civilized, as something else and of course superior, more advanced, or more "spiritually" advanced than those perceived as lower than themselves...okay, scuse me while I go puke just a little...

Perhaps they just hate the rest of the earthlings...or, even worse, perhaps they believe they're doing the right thing...that reminds me of the nazis - and many others like them - as they, too, believe(d) they are/were doing a great service to the world...This, to me, is beyond fucked up.

Well, at least we know things will get worse before they can get even worse...lol!

Don't worry, though, as it is already 2012, and in only a few months, some time near the end of next december the universe will make humanity make a great leap in spiritual evolution and everything will be fine...or something like that...we'll all be enlightened...that way we'll all be able to enjoy our modern comforts, and not only a portion of humanity; and somehow the universe, god or whatever the fuck else will somehow enable the earth to provide all the required resources for this future great enlightened civilization to keep going infinitely...Wow! A whole infinity of gettin fucked and fuckin others for a buck! Yay!...I dunno, but, at the present rate of extinct...uhm, of extermination of about 200 species a day, at least this "infinity" will be a little limited in time...and very lonely...as one of the very rare remaining species...

The Machine vs Pandora

As I'm sure you've noticed by now, this blog isn't the place to get hope from nor is it to get a vision of how to make your life and the lives of those you care for better. Sorry. I wish I could do that. But I haven't got any hope nor vision left...Yep. It's fucked up but all I've got left is my ability to breathe and that's not very much but it's still enough for now for me to keep goin...as weird as this may sound to some people. I know that others feel the way I do as they also see their loved ones being turned into cogs right in front of their eyes and they can't do fuck all about it. They, too, see their beloved world being turned into commodities only to be thrown away after (ab)use. They see this global mindfuck of an extermination cult aka civilization pillaging and trashing the whole Living Earth and they want to have nothing to do with this gangrape and they want this madness to stop now and they want to stop it now...but can't do fuck all about it. If only the situation would be something like that fiction story Avatar where everyone from their planet were not...uhm...pacified...tamed, domesticated, civilized, but instead knew they were part of their living planet, no more no less, and fought back to bring down the Machine before it could destroy even more than it had already done. You know, just like any traditional indigenous human community has done and still does when civilizationists attack/invade them. They don't want to trade their lifestyle for any cars or computers or roads or shopping malls or themockrassy or freedumb or internet or trips to some exotic places...and so on...you get the picture, I'm sure. Some of them have heard of civilization and the civilized and, like the wolves, they want to stay the fuck away from that sickness, from those sick slaves and slavemasters...uhm, puppets and puppeteers...uhm, I mean civilized humans.

So, I'll just keep breathing...for now, anyway...

The Lesser of Two Evils...

Choosing the lesser of two evils seems to be the name of the (civilized) game as I keep seeing people doing this when, for instance, they vote in their beloved themockrassy: "Would you rather have this gang who are obviously intent on fuckin you over for a buck, or would you rather have this gang who are obviously intent on fuckin you over for a buck and a half?..."See? You're free! This is freedumb! Now, bend over and shut the f$?% up!!"

...Yep. Same Shit, Different Asshole...
Fuck em all!!
